Day 3 of the Wheat Quality Council's Spring Wheat and Durum Tour concluded Thursday with the final three-day total weighted average yield estimate of 48.0 bushels per acre (bpa) of 238 fields total for the three days. The average spring wheat yield of 218 fields was at 48.0 bpa, and the average durum yield of 20 fields was at 48.2 bpa.

In the 2025 tour, the final total weighted average yield estimate of 307 fields was 48.3 bpa, with an average spring wheat yield of 292 fields at 49.0 bpa and an average durum yield of 14 fields at 37.0 bpa.

On the third and final day of the tour, scouts estimated a total weighted average yield of 51.9 bpa on 43 fields. All fields were hard red spring wheat. That was down from 52.7 bpa on 34 HRS fields visited on the third day of the 2025 tour.
